Logicom Solutions Ltd secures major IT Project in Cyprus

Logicom Solutions has been awarded a five-year contract to implement a human resource management system, including payroll and rostering at Cyprus Airways. Logicom Solutions partnered with Megabyte Ltd, a leading ICT and Professional Services company based in Mosta, Malta.
The company said in a statement the project was won against stiff competition from large international vendors that also specialised in integrated IT solutions for the airline sector.
The whole solution is scheduled to go live by early 2012 and, upon commissioning, the consortium partners will be responsible to provide full maintenance and support services for their respective deliverables.
Cyprus Airways expects that, once commissioned, this project will bring about greater automation and standardisation to improve efficiency and cost effectiveness as well as a better supporting platform to deliver improved services to its workforce.
